Niki recently participated in the
2002 Illawarra Schoolgirls Breakfast With the Stars. This
event was an opportunity for young schoolgirls to talk personally
with elite female athletes, to listen and to ask questions.
The event was a great success and hopefully many of the young
girls left the breakfast feeling motivated and inspired to
stay in sport and achieve to the best of their ability.

For those who saw it, Niki recently had
a feature interview on the television show Generation 7. Shes
not only Australias number two downhill mountain bike
rider, but shes also a model and a graphic designer.
Some might think shes Wonder Woman, she is in fact Niki
Gudex. Wonder Woman is however one of her role models, which
the sticker on the front of her bike proves. A former snowboarder
Niki has only been competing for three years and won the first
race she entered.
