Australian National Cross Country Series Champion
April 2003

Niki has sealed the National cross country series title with a win in the final round at Fellcrag in Qld. This victory was complemented by finishing 2nd in the Australian National series for downhill. Niki has been a contender on the Australian downhill circuit for a number of years now, winning the downhill series in 2001. For this season, following Niki's recent graduation from University with results that put her in the top 5% of her Bachelor's degree, Niki contested both the downhill and cross country disciplines. With her sights set clearly on a professional career as a cyclist, Niki will now spend the coming weeks in intense training, preparing for her international race schedule that will see her competing in North America and Europe. We wish Niki the best of luck as she heads off to fly the Australian flag.
